Novartis Pavillon

The Pavillon can also be used as a study space without prior registration - initially as a pilot project until December 31, 2026.
Opening hours
Monday closed
Tuesday-Friday 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
No obligation to purchase food/refreshments, no picnics.
Usable areas:
- Foyer (except while events are being held)
15 - 20 spaces with a small table and chairs and approx. 8 sofa places - Café
Standing tables and small tables (with max. 8 spaces)
This area is available to a limited extent as a study space. Café visitors are given priority (incl. during lunchtime; please make the spaces available for guests who are dining). - Public WiFi available
Theater Basel's Foyer Public

In this multi-purpose space, all are welcome to gather, engage in activities, read, learn, unwind, move to music, work, or simply spend time together. The Foyer Public is free of charge and generally open Tuesday through Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Closures or early closings may occur—these will be posted on the weekly schedule).
