This site is all about teaching and learning spaces at the University of Basel, including lecture halls, seminar rooms, practice and workshop rooms, study areas, and spaces for students to study individually or in groups.

Since 2011, the Educational Technologies team in the Vice President's Office for Education has been working on developing these spaces, particularly in the context of digital transformation. Following a university-wide project on the Campus of Tomorrow, a working group was formed in 2014 with representatives from various university departments, institutions, and groups involved in designing and organizing teaching and learning spaces. This group ("Arbeitsgruppe Lernräume") is still active today. Various departments collaborate here, including Educational Technologies, Real Estate Portfolio Management, Campus Management, the University Library, Student Services, and the Student Union, skuba.
